With this new blog redesign I am going to try something a big new. I am planning on sporadically drafting posts where its just a series of photos and thats pretty much it, with very little behind the scenes content or written content at all. Since this post is fairly retroactive (I’m actually penning this from the future: January 2015) I will make this post the first of this new type.
Earlier in November I covered one of my current favorite festivals, Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas. Part music, part comedy, part extreme sports and partly my anniversary, Ive been covering and attending this one for at least 5 years now and it never disappoints. This year I got to watch an obscure emo band from the 90’s, Mineral, just feet and minutes from watching 90’s r&b heart-throb, Ginuwine, woo the crowd into submission. The entire essay ran on Complex / Mountain Dew’s Green Label website.

Below are my top 10 favorites from the weekend followed by a slideshow of the batch.
I believe all the frames were captured with my Fuji XT-1 mirror-less camera setup.
