PRINTS FOR SALE!

PRINTS FOR SALE!

In June of 2010 I participated in a group gallery show called “Convergences” featuring an amazing group of local Houston illustrators, painters and street artists. I assembled a grid of 4 square prints to display which conveyed my theme of “abstract portraits”. These 4, 20″x20″ prints are now being sold to help fund an exciting upcoming project.

RECENT TRAVEL PHOTOS 4 OF 4: IPHONE

The first few weeks of July 2010 were spent visiting family in Chicago and Akron, Ohio. My grandmother turned 80 and members of our family from all parts of the globe congregated in Ohio to surprise her for her birthday. Even though the travel was personal and not business, I still took a ton of photos. This post is the last in a series of 4 dedicated to the images made during the trip. Here you will see photos taken with the camera on my Apple iPhone 4.

BEST OF THE CHRONICLE 2010 (JAN-JUNE)

BEST OF THE CHRONICLE 2010 (JAN-JUNE)

One of my regular editorial clients is my hometown newspaper, The Houston Chronicle. Since my workload lately consists of more corporate work, getting an assignment from the Chron often seems like a much needed break. From triathlons to plastic surgeons, these are my favorite images produced on location for The Houston Chronicle between January and June, 2010.

BEST OF 2009

As we wrap up the first week of the new year I can’t help but reflect on the past year. There were struggles as there are with anything, but I’d be remised if I didn’t sit back and be thankful for the good things. I met a lot of great people, made a few new [...]

IPHONE ADVENTURE

IPHONE ADVENTURE

Every year Libby and I send out a self-designed holiday card using our own skills as graphic artists and photographers. When it came time to produce this year’s card we had some initial trouble coming up with a fresh idea. After a bit of thinking I came up with the idea of using images taken [...]

CHRON FAVS 1

CHRON FAVS 1

As a regular freelancer for The Houston Chronicle, a major metro daily, nearly half a million people see my pictures from day to day, but the next day many of the photos are either used as kindling, pooped on by pets or recycled. Of course they are archived by me, but are rarely shown. It [...]

STOP:LOVE

STOP:LOVE

Ahhh Valentine’s Day. I usually don’t look forward to this day even though I should since I am in a wonderful relationship and not sad and alone, however it just means I have to find something to get my lovely lady, usually at the last minute. In the end, they usually turn out OK, but [...]

ENGAGING

ENGAGING

I’m dipping my toes into all kinds of stuff in this new year, 2009. I don’t really do engagements all too often, but this was for a friend and her fiance who happens to work for the greatest baseball team of all time, The Houston Astros, so for that, I will. It also didn’t hurt [...]
