NOTES: This little book has been a long time coming. Back in July of 2009 I spent a little over a week exploring Southern Africa and came away with a diverse set of images from the coastal villages near Cape Town to big game hunting near the border of Mozambique. I decided to take a few of the selects from the journey and put together a nice coffee table photo book. The book is being self-published via Blurb.com and will hopefully look great. I will try and take some images of the actual book when it arrives, but for now you can preview some of the various layouts below. They are in no particular order and are only a small sampling of the actual pages.
The University of Houston - Downtown powerlifting team is lead by head coach, Dr. John Hudson who has a Ph.D in English and is an ordained minister along with holding several state and national powerlifting records of his own. Despite being a tiny commuter school situated in a metro area, the University of Houston - Downtown is one of the top schools in the country for powerlifting, boasting several record holders and top-tier lifters. Here the team trains and their downtown Houston facility.

Dude, saw the whole book at a recent gathering with Pandora, Doug, and our South African friends Gerard and Linda who were visiting us in Rio. Outstanding stuff. Amazing shots. Truly creative. The impala hanging in the slaughter house, was phenomenal. You really know your light and angles. Amazing! Congratulations!
